Important Information

The British Embassy in Tallinn ceased issuing UK passports with effect of 17th August 2009. All UK passport applications from customers living in Estonia are now processed by the British Passport Processing Centre in Düsseldorf which is part of the British Consulate General in Düsseldorf, Germany.

If applicants are unable to obtain the information they require from the British Passport Processing Centre in Dusseldorf, they should call Careline Services on 0044 208 9824723.  Calls will be charged at GBP 0.69 per minute + VAT for the duration of the call.  Telephone service providers will also charge for the cost of the international call.

 

Standard Biometric Passport 

You can apply for your British passport in the British Embassy in Passport Processing Centre in Düsseldorf .

Emergency Passport

If you need to travel back to the UK and can’t wait for your full replacement passport application to be processed you should contact the Consular Section at the British Embassy Tallinn: 6674700. The Consular Section can issue Emergency Passports (EPs) which are valid for one single journey back to the UK.  List of documents required for passport application and passport forms are available on our website.

You must submit:

• your completed application form
• your 2 countersigned passport photographs
• your supporting documents
• your previous passport
• the correct fee

Lost and stolen passports

Our staff will not be able to process your application or there may be a delay issuing your passport if:

• you have used the wrong form or completed it incorrectly
• you do not provide the correct fee
