Visas to Commonwealth Countries and Overseas Territories
The British Embassy in Tallinn can issue visas to most, but not all Commonwealth countries and British Overseas Territories. Currently these visas cannot be applied for online; they must be filled out and brought to the Embassy. The form is below in PDF format, which requires Adobe Reader. This type of visa does not require fingerprinting.
Please fill in the application form online and print out a copy.
During the application process please choose the "Overseas Territories & Commonwealth" under the 'Purpose of application' field.
Make sure you book the appointment time for application submission to the Embassy during the application process (you will be prompted to do so). Please do not miss or be late for your appointment.
Please bring the application form together with the following supporting documentation:

Your passport or travel document, which imust be valid for a period of at least 6 months after the date on which visa is granted

One recent passport-sized photograph

The visa fee

The referral to other goverment fees if application has to be referred to other authorities
- Ticket bookings all the way to the country you are travelling to and back, with an original stamp of a travel agent;
- Personal bank statement covering a period of the last 6 months;
- Employer's letter, stating that the applicant will be able to continue to work at the same company after their return. The letter must also state the applicant's position and salary, the start and end dates of the contract and the period of approved leave (exact dates must be stated); If the applicant is a student, a letter on the school letterhead certifying that the applicant will be able to continue to study at the same school after travel.
- Hotel booking with an original stamp of a tour organizer or an invitation.

In general, UK entry clearance issuing posts in non-Commonwealth countries - with the exception of those in Antananarivo in Madagascar, Reykjavik in Iceland and Libreville in Gabon - issue visas on behalf of most independent Commonwealth countries that do not have representation in that country.
There are, however, several exceptions to this and you should contact either a representative of the Commonwealth country that you intend to visit, or your nearest British mission overseas where you can get up-to-date information. Listed below are some of the countries for which entry clearances cannot be issued.
